Arkansas Heart Hospital is a result of intensive efforts by area heart specialists to assemble the finest facilities, advanced equipment and highly skilled health care professionals at one site.  From its inception, physicians have been active in planning the specialized care facility.   

Since opening in February 1997 the hospital has treated patients from all 75 Arkansas counties.  More than 105,000 admissions have occurred and over 7,500 open heart surgeries have been performed during the ten-year period.
