Marissa Boggs was born and raised in Germantown, Tennessee. She attended the University of Central Arkansas where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. During her last year of nursing school, she worked as a patient care partner (PCP) at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in the Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU). After graduation, she worked there as a registered nurse for 8 years. She attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing degree with honors. She was also inducted into the International Honor Society of Nursing and remains a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She is an Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Marissa serves as part of the Diabetes and Endocrinology team with Dr. Irina Lendel at the Arkansas Heart Hospital and Clinic. She lives in Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband and enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling in her spare time.
