Arkansas Heart Hospital is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Sarah McKenzie to our team of physicians. Dr. McKenzie is a native of Northeast Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas as an undergraduate majoring in microbiology. She obtained her doctorate in medicine from Ross University School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency training in family medicine at UAMS West Regional Programs.
During her residency, Dr. McKenzie participated in a rigorous OB track. She joined the faculty at UAMS Northeast Regional Programs in 2013, where she provided inpatient and outpatient care, as well as a full spectrum of obstetrical care within the residency, along with her duties as faculty.
Dr. McKenzie has a special interest in women’s health and physical medicine. When she’s not serving patients, she enjoys spending time with her French bulldogs, traveling anywhere there is a beach, scuba diving and spending time with her family.
Dr. McKenzie will have several roles in the organization. She will be seeing patients in the Be Well primary care clinic and will also be the physician champion for several AHH programs that are currently being developed.
