POSITION TITLE:   Bariatric/Minimally Invasive Surgeon

DUTIES/ REQUIREMENTS: Diagnose and treat disorders linked to obesity, including performing bariatric and minimally invasive surgical procedures such as gastric bypass and gastric sleeve; work with referring physicians to provide comprehensive care; ensure that postoperative care is properly managed; monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure that patients receive quality care. Requires: MD/DO/foreign degree equivalent; completion of 5-year ACGME-approved General Surgery residency and 1-year ACGME-approved Bariatric fellowship; and AR license/eligibility. Must be available for night and weekend coverage.

SALARY: The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor
