A different kind of food truck.
There’s no better way to achieve great health than with great food, which is why we’re launching Food From The Heart, a food truck with a menu crafted by the renowned Chef Coby — including his famous ramen bowls. Starting May 2*, we’re bringing our heart-healthy, amazing food to the streets of Little Rock at the Food Truck Stop at 801 S Chester Street, Little Rock, AR 72201. Private bookings aren’t available, but you’ll see Food From The Heart and Chef Coby at several of your favorite food truck spots and events throughout the state. Ramen is served every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We only use MSG free soy products.
Coby Smith has served as Chief Executive Chef at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, since July 2014. He takes great pride in not only preparing food for the hospital’s special events, but is enjoying the opportunity to serve patients and their families.
Chef Mark Elliotte says the patients who come through Strong Hearts are what motivate him to work hard at developing innovative and exciting meal ideas and cooking methods. In 2015, the hospital unveiled its new cutting edge cardiac rehab facility, Strong Hearts, and Mark had the opportunity to transition to full-time chef teaching recovering heart patients how to prepare wholesome heart healthy foods.
Chef Nicole Collazo enjoys being in an environment that values health and helps people actively engage in improving their quality of life. She believes that while we have such a great program, we have nothing without patients that are willing to put in the work to better themselves.
Jon Bierman – Gardener
Jon has been involved in organic farming and environmental education in Little Rock for many years. He is passionate about health and happiness and understand that great food is intrinsic to both. He is also excited to produce great food and beautiful gardens for the patients and employees of AHH.
