Chef Mark Elliotte has  worked a variety of culinary jobs, from Food and Beverage director at MWR Arkansas National Guard to Executive Chef at Best Impressions restaurant and PTC Arkansas Culinary School, before ultimately ending up as the Head Chef at Arkansas Heart Hospital in 2014. His role as chef at Strong Hearts allows him to impart his wisdom on the science of food and how to replace the fat, sugar, and sodium in all kinds of recipes as well as using different cooking techniques. Where his specialty shines through is taking classic recipes and converting them into a healthy alternative that still tastes great without the added ingredients that contribute to heart disease. Chef Mark says the patients who come through Strong Hearts are what motivate him to work hard at developing innovative and exciting meal ideas and cooking methods.
