Raj Chakka, MD

Dr. Raj Chakka is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Arkansas Heart Hospital with more than 20 years of experience diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. 

His expertise includes the management of complex arrhythmias and the use of advanced cardiac devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy. 

Dr. Chakka earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He went on to complete fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Indiana University in Indianapolis. 

Since beginning his practice in central Arkansas in 2005, Dr. Chakka has held medical leadership roles in electrophysiology and participated in extensive clinical research focused on cardiac rhythm management technologies. He is committed to providing patients with thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to their individual heart rhythm needs.
