Dr. Scott Ryan is a vascular surgeon who enjoys caring for patients with all forms of vascular disease. Dr. Ryan graduated from Baylor University in 2009 with degrees in Business and Economics and minors in Biology and Chemistry. He then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and graduated with his Doctor of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Ryan completed his general surgery residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where he won both the Junior Surgical Resident Award and Senior Surgical Resident Award. He went on to finish his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Texas – Houston. Following fellowship, he founded Arkansas Vascular Surgery, PLLC. As a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon, Dr. Ryan treats all conditions associated with the peripheral vascular system using medical, traditional open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular therapies. His highest priority is always providing excellent, individualized care for his patients. Dr. Ryan and his wife Emily married in 2009 and have four children: Nathan, Jack, Henry and Charlotte. Dr. Ryan enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, and spending time with his family in his spare time.
