Dr. Dixon is board certified by the American College of Surgeons in General Surgery. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and served as an officer in the US Army Special Forces prior to earning his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his general surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. After serving in the US Army as Staff General Surgeon at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, he moved back to his home state and started a private practice in Conway, AR. Deciding to move closer to family, he moved his practice to Benton where he continues to see most of his patients. As a General Surgeon, Dr. Dixon will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of surgical conditions affecting almost any area of the body.
