Mark Hardin, MD

Dr. Hardin is a Little Rock native. He earned a degree in business economics from Wheaton College before graduating from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Hardin completed a residency in general surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center, including a year as a research fellow at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research. He served as a general surgeon in the U.S. Army at Irwin Army Community Hospital and Madigan Army Medical Center. While on active duty, Dr. Hardin served as part of a Forward Surgical Team to Afghanistan, Kuwait and Syria. He completed a cardiothoracic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is board certified in General Surgery. His clinical interests include coronary bypass and structural heart disease. Dr. Hardin and his wife, Whitney, were married in 2003 and have three children: Haley, Andrew, and Zach. In his spare time, Dr. Hardin enjoys traveling with his family and watching his kids compete in sports.
