Amanda Mullins, APRN

Amanda Mullins is an advanced practice registered nurse at Arkansas Heart Hospital. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2013 where she graduated with honors. She is nationally certified by the Arkansas Nurse Practitioners Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. She has been an APRN at Arkansas Heart Hospital since 2015. Amanda sees patients primarily in the Little Rock area but also sees patients in satellite clinics alongside Dr. Wesley Lane in Mountain View, Pine Bluff and Warren.

Why did you choose to go into medicine? 

I chose medicine to help people during some of their most vulnerable times.

What do you most enjoy about your profession? 

I enjoy establishing long-term relationships with my patients. They feel comfortable with me and trust me to always have their best interests at heart.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? 

I enjoy spending time with my family and working on various craft projects.
