Amanda Mullins, APRN
Amanda Mullins, APRN, FNP-C, is an experienced nurse practitioner specializing in cardiovascular care. She works alongside Dr. Nureddin Almaddah to care for patients with a range of heart and vascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension and heart failure. She also provides pre-operative cardiac evaluations, post-procedure follow-up and ongoing management of complex cardiovascular conditions.
Amanda brings more than a decade of advanced practice experience to Arkansas Heart Hospital, including nearly nine years previously caring for cardiac patients across the organization. Her background also includes interventional and structural cardiology, primary care and management of patients with complex chronic conditions.
She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Arkansas and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

Why did you choose to go into medicine?
I chose medicine to help people during some of their most vulnerable times.
What do you most enjoy about your profession?
I enjoy establishing long-term relationships with my patients. They feel comfortable with me and trust me to always have their best interests at heart.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family and working on various craft projects.
